These are the 4 digit numbers entered into an aircraft transponder, usually given by the ATC providing them with a radar service unless they are assigned them due to a specific function or displaying them to signify a specific function. These for digit codes contain digits 0 to 7 but will not contain the numbers 8 or 9. You can usually search the text on this page by using the function “CTRL+F”
